FOUNTAIN Sharks have made a solid start to life in the Lisburn and District Snooker League.
The Antrim side made the decision to leave the Ballymena and District League in the summer to try their hand in Lisburn and the decision seems to have been a good one.
After taking some time to find their feet, Sharks have picked up maximum eight points from their last two games.
First, they beat Legion Hotshots from Lisburn. Northern Ireland current champion Jordan Brown opened up with breaks of 43 and 78 and this was followed by a 63 for Roger Smyth with wins also for Stevie Higham and Ryan McQuillan to move up to joint fourth.
In their last match, Sharks again collected four points from their trip to Coach Highwaymen, and currently sit fifth in the table, three points behind leaders Coach Glenside.
