THE new season opened with a bang for Chimney Corner under 12's with a fantastic 5-1 win over Ballymena-based opponents Northend.
The young Antrim side, who are hoping to capture another trophy or two to add to The Rosebowl which they won at the end of last season, started off in fine form and last season's top scorer, Ciaran Dobbin could have opened his account for the season within the first 60 seconds but his shot ran the wrong side of the post.
