LITTLE boy racers are putting people's lives at risk with their high-speed antics, a local community worker has warned.
Martin Logan said the so-called 'differs' - who have made the lives of Toome residents hell for the last several months - could easily crash and injure themselves, never mind the possibility of killing an innocent by-stander.
The village's roads, particularly the Toome by-pass, have become a favourite with 'differs' - diffing is where a car slides at an angle, with its side moving in the direction of the turn, and can also be known as 'donuting'.
Mr Logan, who is an independent member of Antrim District Policing Partnership, said while he didn't want to be a killjoy, he didn't want to see someone injured.
"I don't want to seem like I don't want young people to have fun, but they've got to understand there are children and old people who could be injured," Mr Logan said.
