ANTRIM Art Club held the first meeting of the season on recently at Parkhall High School.
The guest demonstrater was lecturer in art Eamonn Murphy.

Eamonn gave a demonstration in acrylics and his topic was Creative Still Life and while he created his painting and the members watched he gave many tips on drawing and painting.

So,
if you can draw and are interested in painting why not come along to the Art Club and enjoy watching experienced artists at work and learn from them.

It really is a stress free experience, all you have to do is loose yourself in the relaxing therapy of painting and enjoy developing a new hobby for the winter months.

The next meeting will be held at Coleman’s Garden Centre in Templepatrick on October 13 at 1.30pm when the guest demonstrater will be well known artist Ray Elwood.

Ray has been teaching art over the past 30 years both at home and abroad and most recently in France and Switzerland.

Ray, though talanted in several mediums will demonatrate in watercolours and the following week he will hold a painting workshop there for a limited number of members.

There is always something interesting happening at the Art Club and if you are interested in joining call Rosemary at 9334 0730.
