Busy summer for local WI

THE summer months proved to be a busy time for Randalstown WI members who held a number of events.
Members enjoyed an evening outing in May to Sentry Hill, a 19th century farmhouse in the parish of Carnmoney which was home to the McKinney family.
In June, the ladies' fundraising supper was held at the home of one of their members. The delicious cold meal provided by the committee was followed by games to test the brain.
As part of the annual Randalstown Arches festival, the local WI organised a floral art demonstration by floral artist Nuala Kearney of Budding Designs.
The event was well supported and enjoyed by all with proceeds going to the Clarke Clinic at the Royal Victoria Hospital for Sick Children.
